How to Upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro for free?

The process for upgrading from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro is same as upgrading from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.


Alternatively, you can always buy a genuine key from Store and Upgrade to Pro. But for general use, you can always Upgrade for free using the generic key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T.

  • First, you need to log in as an administrator.
  • Second, open Power Shell with elevated privileges (as an administrator).
  • Finally, copy and paste the command below and let the magic happen.
changepk.exe /ProductKey VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

Press Enter and Accept the dialogue box that appears.

Your PC will restart now and upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro. The only thing left to do is activate the windows. Sometimes, the option, I recently changed my hardware works for Activation.
