NVIDIA has officially launched the RTX Spark, an advanced ARM-based superchip designed specifically for AI-powered Windows laptops and compact desktop systems. CEO Jensen Huang made this groundbreaking announcement during his keynotes at both GTC Taipei and Computex 2026 on May 31, 2026. The RTX Spark stands out for its ability to deliver robust on-device artificial intelligence, eliminating the need for cloud processing for AI tasks. This feature is particularly beneficial as it enhances speed and privacy, enabling users to perform complex AI computations directly on their devices. By seamlessly integrating NVIDIA's cutting-edge AI technology with its renowned RTX graphics, the RTX Spark aims to redefine the user experience across various applications, including those favored by creators, gamers, and AI developers. This synergy allows for enhanced graphics rendering, real-time AI processing, and much more, enriching both creative workflows and gaming experiences. With the launch of the RTX Spark, NVIDIA is making a strategic move into the mainstream PC processor market, directly targeting established competitors like Intel and AMD. This bold step is anticipated to transform the landscape of personal computing, bringing unprecedented power and versatility to users across different sectors. ## Key Hardware & Performance Specs **GPU:** Introducing the cutting-edge NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPU, boasting an impressive 6,144 CUDA cores that deliver unparalleled performance. With its powerful 5th-generation Tensor Cores and advanced 4th-generation RT Cores, this GPU is designed to elevate your computing experience to new heights. Get ready to unleash the full potential of your graphics and AI workloads! **CPU:** Imagine a powerful 20-core ARM processor, expertly crafted using cutting-edge 3nm technology. With a perfect blend of 10 performance cores to tackle demanding tasks and 10 efficiency cores to optimize power use, this processor is poised to elevate your computing experience to new heights! **Memory:** Imagine having a powerhouse of up to 128GB of LPDDR5x unified memory at your fingertips, seamlessly shared between your system and GPU. This dynamic memory allocation ensures that you have the perfect balance of performance and efficiency, making your computing experience faster and smoother than ever! **Graphics Performance: **Discover a new level of gaming and content creation with this innovative device. It offers performance similar to that of a mid-range discrete GPU, such as the desktop RTX 5070, ensuring smooth graphics and efficient processing. Despite its powerful capabilities, it boasts an ultra-slim design with a thickness of only 14mm, making it both portable and stylish. Get ready to experience high-quality graphics on the go! ## Built for AI Agents RTX Spark stands out for its remarkable on-device AI computing capabilities, which offer an unparalleled level of performance. It can deliver up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI compute power, enabling users to execute complex AI models consisting of 120 billion parameters. This high level of computational capacity empowers both power users and developers to create and run sophisticated applications, such as local chatbots and intelligent personal agents, directly on their devices. By eliminating the need for cloud dependency, RTX Spark allows for enhanced privacy, reduced latency, and greater control over data, making it an ideal solution for those looking to harness the full potential of AI technology in various innovative ways. ## Gaming & Software Support NVIDIA has collaborated closely with Microsoft to ensure that legacy software and games run smoothly on the Windows on ARM ecosystem using emulation layers. It supports NVIDIA's complete software stack, including: - **CUDA:** For native AI development. - **DLSS:** For AI-upscaled gaming and frame generation. - **Ray Tracing & Reflex:** For immersive lighting and ultra-low latency. ## RTX Spark Availability in Nepal NVIDIA is set to launch its new RTX Spark laptops and compact desktops in Fall 2026, which means we can expect them to be available globally between October and December of that year. Major PC brands like ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI will be releasing these devices. However, for those in Nepal, the arrival of the RTX Spark products will be a bit later, as they are expected to be available between late January and March 2027.
